Available in a natural finish, the detail of the hand crafted wood lattice work features a distinctive 4 x 13 square grid design on both sides of the door panel. A protective kick plate measuring 14" tall is incorporated in to the base of the panels.

This Premium Shoji Door Kit is expertly crafted in Asian, plantation grown hardwood. Beautiful, long lasting and environmentally sustainable. This door kit is much heavier than our standard door kits and incorporates superior engineering. The shoji panels are made with Warlon, a PVC laminated shoji paper which has visible long fibers spread randomly through the panel offering strength and textural interest. The commercial-grade Warlon panels have the look and feel of traditional rice paper, but is much stronger, and puncture resistant. Light is softly diffused through the panels while offering complete privacy. The mortise & tenon hardwood frame is hand finished with a clear protective non-toxic varnish. Back lattice panel is removable for easy replacement of Shoji Paper if ever damaged.
The kit includes two door panels, the upper and lower tracks and right and left door jambs. The wider, double routed top and bottom tracks incorporate a smooth and easy gliding system for the door panels. Sorry, we do not offer custom sizing.
The dimensions for the rough opening are approximately 81 1/2" tall, 71 1/2" wide and 4 1/2" deep.
Each door panel measures 78 5/8" tall, 35 1/2" wide and 1 1/2" thick.
Top and bottom rails measures: 68 3/8" long, 4 1/2" wide and 1 5/8" in depth.
Door jambs measure: 81 1/2" long, 4 1/2" wide and 1 5/8" in depth.
