These are the half size, Wider Queen Sized, 31 1/2" x 78.7" x 2" (80 x 200 cm) version of the traditional Tatami, used as flooring for centuries in Tea houses and Zen Rooms to create an aromatic soft, inviting and relaxing environment. These fit perfectly as a perfect base for your favorite futon.

	HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR TATAMI Tatami are greenish when new, and over time, will dry to become a tan color. Tatami should be kept dry from excessive humidity. Avoid wet cleaners. It is recommended that Tatami be removed periodically and allowed to sun dry for an afternoon. If your area is damp and humid, a de-humidifier will help protect your Tatami from possible mildew. You can freshen and protect mats with a light dusting of cornstarch from time to time. Similar to a mattress, rotate occasionally to avoid wear from highly trafficked areas. Vacuum Tatami along grain for general cleaning. Wearing shoes on Tatami is not recommended We are confident that you will appreciate the beauty and style, and with proper care, your Tatami should last for many years to come.
