Small cymbals known as Tingsha, are used by Tibetan monks to mark the beginning and end of a meditation session. This Zenergy meditation chime from Woodstock Chimes can be used in the same manner. The two rods of this chime are tuned to nearly the same pitch. Striking both rods at the same time will result in an acoustical phenomenon known as "beating". With a gentle tap of the mallet, the Zenergy Chime rods will seem to ring in the same pitch, but you will hear a distinct rhythm or vibration of almost 12 beats per second.
Relax, refocus, and rejuvenate with these good vibrations. This chime can also be used as a hand chime or attention chime in group settings. Use it to start meetings, classes or to alert guests that your event is about to begin. A mallet and listening exercises are included. There is a keyhole slot on the bottom to allow the chime to be hung upright on a wall. The base is made of cherry finished ash wood with two silver polished aluminum rods. This chime measures 7" long, 2 1/2" wise and 1" tall.
