In Japan, Haru translates to "season" and this noren represents spring in full bloom. The dragonfly (Tombo) is an important cultural symbol, believed to be the spirit of the rice plant and a harbinger of rich harvests. Noren are traditional Japanese cotton curtains, used to enhance any room or doorway. Noren are split in the middle so you can walk right through, and have a closed top seam to insert a wooden or bamboo dowel, or curtain rod for hanging. Crafted in 100% cotton in chocolate and golden toned browns. Noren measures 33 1/4" wide and 59" long. Imported, China.
