Antique Chinese High Official Wooden Statue

Dated to circa 1700 AD, this Chinese statue is representative of a High Official during that time period. The condition of this statue is good and much of the original pigment in red, brown and gold on the face is still present. There are a few minor chips and deterioration which is not unusual for a piece of this age. Lasting pleasure will come from being able to enjoy it everyday. The sitting figure on a pedestal measures approximately 14 1/2" in height and is 6 1/2" wide.
