Kama Wanu YukataThe classic navy blue and white basket-weave pattern in this Japanese Yukata defines timeless Japanese tradition. A bold vertical stripe with a unique fabric design dating back to the 17th century and the famous Japanese actor, Ichikawa. The pattern shows a sickle (kama), a circle (wa), and the syllabic character nu, to spell out the word kamawanu - "It doesn't matter". The humorous wordplay is characteristic of a strong-spirited boy growing up in Edo, or modern-day Tokyo.
This yukata is made in Japan of 100% soft cotton and is perfect for use as a robe or as a cover-up at the beach or pool. A matching belt is included and is sewn inside the sleeve with a light basting stitch. This is available in your choice of a 59" or a 63" length.
The 59" length comfortable fits 5'5" to 5'10" in height. The sleeve length is 15" the shoulder width is 25" and the girth is 48".
The XXL-63" length comfortably fits 5'10" to 6'3" in height. The shoulder length is 16", the shoulder width is 31 1/2" and the girth is 55".
