Shokaku Yukata
Shôkaku means "flying cranes" in Japanese and the artisan's elegant design is also rich in centuries old symbolism. The crane represents the bird of happiness and a symbol of long life, good fortune and prosperity. Flying cranes in a striking navy blue amidst scattered swirls on a crisp white background complete the traditional look. Destined to be a wardrobe favorite, this kimono is made in Japan of soft 100% cotton. A matching belt is included and sewn into the sleeve with a light basting stitch. It measures 58" in length and will comfortably fit a person 5'5" to 5'10" in height. The sleeve length is 14", the shoulder width is 25" and the girth is 48".
