Tanzaku Frames
Tanzaku Kake boards are made from fine Japanese handmade art papers layered over hard board backing. Stylish and elegant with brocade printed paper in a damask motif. Finished with a strip of gold paper and traditionally used for Sumi-e, haiku, and watercolor painting. Shikishi board measuring 2 7/8" wide and 14" tall is held in place by silver accents. Tanzaku Frame measures 4" wide and 18 7/8" tall. Tassle dropped cord in rich purple completes this classic frame. Available in Blue, Green, and Rose.
