Our mats are carefully crafted by weaving a double top layer of Igusa Rush Grass.
The fill is a lightweight, yet durable honeycomb paperboard. The mats are sewn with a black fabric border, bound with twine. Our Tatami have a moisture resistant barrier at the
foundation. The traditional mat measures 90 cm x 180 cm (35 1/2" x 70.8" x 2"). Each mat weighs approximately 25 lbs.
