CONDITION: New, unworn. The robe was refolded and bagged, but the folds are not as crisp as when it was received from our production facility.

In Japan, koi fish are associated with luck, abundance, and perseverance.

Yukata were originally worn as bathrobes in Japanese bathhouses. Today, yukata robes are much more common and often worn year-round at home and while lounging. During the warmer summer months, it is common to see them at festivals and outdoor celebrations.

This blue and white yukata has a unique design of Koi fish swimming in the water. The fish is highly respected in Japan and translates to affection and love. In Buddhism koi represent courage. Finely crafted in Japan of 100% cotton with a shrink-resistant finish. This robe is machine washable and we suggest cold water for best results and to extend the life of the fabric. The yukata features traditional butterfly sleeves and a matching belt is included.

While the sizing listed for this robe is for men, this design is very popular and is often chosen by women. We suggest leaning toward a smaller size if you are female.

Available in size: Small/Medium.

Small/Medium,measures 56” in length and is designed to fit a male 5’ 6" to 5' 11" in height. The sleeve length is 15”, the shoulder width is 25”, and the girth is 46”.
