The dragon and bamboo have been considered symbols of beauty and endurance throughout Japanese history into modern times. The dragon symbolizes water while the bamboo represents endurance. Dragons are also known for strength and bamboo brings luck and prosperity. The navy blue and white color palette compliments the water deity design of this robe.
Yukata are comfortable to wear around the home while lounging or as a cover up or bathrobe after a shower. They can also be worn to parties, festivals and special events. The lightweight cotton fabric has a shrink resistant finish making it easy-care and machine washable. We recommend cold water for best results and to extend the life of your robe. A matching belt is included.
